In an effort to explore and share my design style more, I've been doing some designs for made up brands. After designing about five fake companies for my dog (more on that in another blog post) it was time to take on a more "real world" client. My man jumped in with a faux client and backstory for my practice.
Creative Brief: A Moldovan fennel growers cooperative wants to create new branding to break in to the American market.
I created a series of logo mock ups and lock ups that could be used in a variety of applications. All the branding design is inspired by pottery work from Moldova, and traditional Moldovan embroidery. You can check out my mood board on Pinterest for insight on my creative inspiration.
Results:
The prompt seemed dry, but I had a blast on the research and development of this branding! What do you think?
